Trent Scribner, Member of the Public said I want to thank everyone for coming out today, I’ve lived in Las Cruces my whole life, I always say, I work in healthcare right now, more importantly I’ve had family and friends, a lot of family and friends who’ve been, you know, addicted to drugs opioids and what not, what have you, so this conversation means a lot. Working in healthcare our priorities are good here, it seems like we want to cast a wide net with screening, with universal screening for everybody, which is good, the important thing with universal screening in the healthcare setting which usually you’ll meet these people in the emergency department is making sure that we had follow up available for them so follow up with counseling and I think this is a really good opportunity to kinda get all of the disparate non-profits and city organizations together so we know what resources are accessible to people the hospital maintains a list of what resources we refer people to but having something kind of more central to refer them would be very helpful. I think that education, prevention education in the schools is very good. I wasn’t a fan of the old D.A.R.E. model, cause everyone
