The Tax Increment Development District Board Meeting of the City of Las Cruces was called to order on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 1:00 PM, in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, with the following members present:

Graham, Councilor Becky Corran, Councilor Cassie McClure, and Councilor

1. CALL TO ORDER

2. ACTION ITEMS 2.1 APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM JANUARY 22, 2024. Councilor Becki Graham moved, seconded by Councilor Becky Corran, to

Approve the Minutes from January 22, 2024.

3. DISCUSSION ITEMS 3.1 FINANCIAL UPDATE. Chris Faivre, Deputy Director Economic Development gave an overhead presentation. 3.2 CURRENT PROJECTS UPDATE. Chris Faivre gave an overhead presentation.

Board Member Flores asked what is the time projected for the completion of the renovation of the Amador Hotel?

Chris Faivre said I know they're looking to complete the exterior sometime after 2025.

I don't know that there is complete funding in place for the interior. Right now they're just focusing on all of the exterior elements.

Board Member Flores asked does our local historic society work with the state or national to get funds for the interior?

Chris Faivre said I know they were going through the approval process to get it listed on the national historic registry of historic properties. I think we're still waiting on final word from that. Once we do get that designation, it will open up additional potential funds for buildings that are on a historic registry.

Board Member Flores asked has the infrastructure of the interior been touched at all?

Chris Faivre said there's been some demolition that happened previously but in terms of redoing it, most of their efforts have been focused on the exterior of the buildings at this point.
